NYLA Brand: Usual Price - $50 buck-a-roos

Spotted these super-duper cute brown, gold studded gladiators the other day on the clearance rack for $15.00.  It’s what, Aug. 20th or something?  Barely even 6 weeks to wear them if I’m lucky? I consider them only if mgmt. will give them to me for $10.

Luckily enough, (for some-one like mwa) when I go to try them on, their broken!  Yep, broken!  What fortune!  So, I’m able to negotiate with the manager for $3.50!

Don’t call me ghetto, yall – call me ghetto FABULOUS! ;)

Who else do you know has their gladiator sandals held together by a safety pin? :)

I'm such a genius. :)

I'm such a genius. :)

I think we can all agree, that with a well hidden safety-pin, $3.50 is well worth a pair of sandals that make this hot little maternity number ( a great borrow from my friend, Jessica) look super cute! :)

Even though the brown wasn't the exact shade, I pulled it together by mathing a gold cuff bracelet, earrings & necklace to the studs on the sandals.

Even though the brown wasn't the exact shade, I pulled it together by matching a gold cuff bracelet, gold earrings & necklace to the gold studs on the sandals. I think it works! Plus, at 32 weeks pregnant, I cannot do heels for more than 5 minutes of standing time, and I was getting ready to go preach that morning.

They do look great with the dress! I can’t tell by the picture so much but can someone stitch them for you?

the material there is pretty thick, so probably not… but again, there only sandals I’ll wear a few times. Who knows if I’ll want to bust em out next summer? Gladiators are way too trendy right now, but next summer, it’ll be “out with the old,” you know? ;)

Your fashion sense never ceases to amaze me Grace. If I ever have any money, I may pay you to take me shopping. Though I have improved over the years, we both know i’ve never been great with fashion. You will be happy to hear though that I’ve got a great short bob thats longer in the front and sort of stacked in the back. You’d love it! :)
