How do you best learn?
I realized in the past few years that I’ve totally embraced my inner Hermione Granger, the total bookworm from the Harry Potter series. When we 1st started trying to get pregnant with my son, Ransom I ran to the library & got every book available on trying to conceive. Turns out you have sex just before or while your ovulating. Once I conceived, I ran to the library & got every available book on pregnancy. Turns out you eat healthy, keep working out, do Kegels & practice breathing techniques. The crazy thing is, no help from you, that baby just grows. Imagine that.
Last summer when I decided I wanted to eventually become a “serious” author I went to Barnes & Nobles to figure out all the books I wanted to have around as reference books for learning to write. I then went on Amazon & purchased all of those books used for 1/4 of the price. (I love me some Amazon, yall). Anyway, last summer I picked up all these books..
Well, in the past few weeks I’ve been up to my old antics. Once I decided I wanted to put some significant focus on my blog I did the same thing & ended up picking these titles on blogging…
So, what about you, how do you best gather information? The web? A book nerd like Hermione & I? Just figure it out as you go?
What a nerd, eh? Nothing than better than sitting around reading over 500 pages on the exciting topic of blogging!

I love to read, but I learn best in groups, in conversation. So like reading a book and then going to a book group. Or doing small group Bible studies. I need the think out loud, bounce ideas off of others, debate and be challenged for ideas to really sink in.
