Ok I disagree WHOLEHEARTEDLY with April on the Grey's (It is a must watch and you have to watch each season and if the ashy tv will get this years tune in on Thursday nights) With that said...

The Office (I have never been able to keep up with it but any time I watched it I experienced GUT busting laughter).

and a little old school like "In living Color or Martin" we have those and love to reminisce

For me LAW and Order (not you though the story lines are too tragic you would be depressed)

P.S. I meant to also write that I liked Stephanie Meyer's other book "The Host" better than the "Twilight" series.

I know you already picked but I would definitely agree with "Curb Your Enthusiasm", I think it's hilarious. Also, I've kind of wanted to get into Mad Men, I heard it's a great one. As far as books, "Twilight" is good read that you don't need mental energy for, they were enjoyable. :) My favorite book of all time is "Jane Eyre." This takes more mental energy because the language of that time period is sometimes hard to digest, but I love it! She is a woman who sticks with her convictions. That's my two cents :)

Grey's sucks after season 1 in my opinion. Add Big Bang Theory to your list. I have season's one and two and they are hilarious, but almost impossible to find whole episodes online. I've gotten a few people addicted. Another recommendation would be Vicar of Dibley. Carol Bechtel LOVES that show also, so I recommend it from her also :)

Okay, I will take your advice on these:

1. Finish Season 5 of The Office & maybe continue to catch up via Hulu on season 6.

2. The Twilight series for books - so many ladies keep recommending it's time I give in! (I have done Harry Potter - Love it!)

3. I think I'll stick to light-hearted with either "30 rock" or "Curb your enthusiam," since I love me some Larry David. I have all ready seen & re-seen & re-seen "Arrested Development," I just love it, but probably need a break!

4. And then if I have extra time maybe I'll move to the West Wing, I'm also a big Aaron Sorkin fan & loved what he did with "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip."

Unfortunately, though I enjoyed season 1 of Heroes when I started Season 2 I started having nightmares & it's just too much for me... especially at night by myself --not good! ;(

OK, here's my opinion:
1. Don't waste your time on Grey's Anatomy. Just don't. Season 1 is the best (and how sad is that). I stopped watching it after that because it got so bad - avid followers will tell you that, as well as some of the actors themselves.
2. Arrested Development is still one of the BEST shows I've ever seen. It's genious.
3. Here are some I always wanted to watch, but never made the time for: Heros, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Madmen.
And of course, you know I'm going to recommend catching up on any and all of THE OFFICE that you may have missed! :)

Have fun!

The Office and LOST are my votes. While nursing my son, I watch Friends...such great comedy that can be viewed over and over.

In terms of books, I recently made my way through the Twilight series (corny, but entertaining). If you haven't read Harry Potter, you should.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, LOST or Scrubs (I haven't watched any of that, but I heard it was a great show).

Books - The Twilight series because it is brain candy with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. It doesn't require a great deal of thought and brain energy, which I recall as being my state of being during my time as the human cow.
