(In case youv’e not been keeping up with my recent hair drama, go here. From a smooth perm & cut last Winter (which I loved)…

remember this? I do...with great fondness :)

remember this? I do...with great fondness :)

…I began a new hair phase.  I made an effort to spend no money on my hair which then led to weave ponytails to 1/2 permed, 1/2 natural hair and I finally made the move to cut a heaping amount of inches, not to mention my permanent relaxer off as of 5 days ago.  My perm-free, short natural hair days were to begin.  But took a steep nose-dive.  ker-plunk).

The drama continues…

I folded.  I wore my hair natural for all of what 4 days?  On Tue. when I had to get up 20 min. early just to wet, mousse/gel & blow-dry my hair, well let’s just say, that was the moment I threw in the towel. Pun intended.

I just couldn’t take the pressure.  I remember what its like to have to do your hair everyday & I’m in no mood.

I often feel so bad for white girls who actually wash their hair every single stinking day, my Lord, I apologize to the whole lot of you.  When I think my black-girl hair texture is “too hard to deal with,” I think of you & immediately feel better about my momentary hair troubles.

I scoured one of my favorite blogs about black hair, only to find the example of this one chic, Sharri who wears her natural hair beautifully.    To be sure, Sharri is rockin’ it out of town.  (Please God tell me she’s single with no babies & has nothing else to think about but making her hair cute!)

But honestly people, I’m in no mood.  In other phase of life, in another season, but not now.  No way.

So, I gave in & spent the last $40 of my personal money.  Now if this new do lasts the next 3 weeks, through labor, birth & a good week after nameless baby #2 arrives, it will be more than worth it.

From this at 10am this morning…

It looks so super cute! LOVE it!

I’m saddened by the fact that Addy’s hair has lost it’s curl and is now the same dreaded mess as mine…just enough wave/curl to be a nuissance. Not only do I have to wash and dry my hair every 3-4 days but now I have to do the same thing to hers. ugh!

HAHHAH “I’m in no mood.” HAHHA I like the braids. Just wrap your hair at night. Those braids are so tiny there’s no way it shouldn’t make it through labor and delivery. YOU CAN DO IT GRACE! I can’t wait for nameless # 2 to come. HAHAHA

This blog was quite funny and it home!!! I wear my hair natural and everyone thinks that it is so easy and low maintance……. WRONG….
I was getting ready to two stand twist my hair and I threw both hands in the hair and said “I cannot do this” So I resulted to two stand twist extensions. I have decided to put my hair on a sabbatical for at least 7months!!!! So we are now in San Fran so I know that I can find some nice weave salons!!!! UNBEWEAVABLE!!!!!!! btw I like ur hair : )
