Wow, a night away. Dave & I are packing up for our 1st night away from both kids. My gracious mother & father’n'law are keeping both kiddo’s until tomorrow afternoon.
We are heading off to celebrate a birthday party of one of my best buds.
You know what’s crazy?
I’m not just excited about getting to go out, or having adult time, or being alone with my hubby as much as I am about one thing: wearing a cute outfit that doesn’t have to also be breast-feeding accessible!
Yep, that’s what I’m primarily excited about. Is that sad?
And is it wrong that I’m more sad about the multiple breast pumping sessions than I am about being away from them for a night? With the week I’ve had, I need a break. I’m just sayin’.
When you have a newborn, it’s the little things in life that excite you.
Off to pack. Hurrah!

NO not wrong at all. I can’t even wear my cute new sweater by le’tigre that cost $8 because it is not breastfeeding worthy. LOL breastfeeding is complicated. Have a fun time and have a glass of wine. Resling is tasty and sweet and light.
I hear you about breastfeeing accessible clothing. It stunk to become a pastor’s wife and need new Sunday morning attire, but to realize that the two new dresses I bought created quite an ordeal while trying to nurse at church.
